Tina Young has over 13 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, working at Syntex
and Wyeth Research. She joined ClinTrials Research 12 months ago and has overseen
the expansion of the data management group to a new facility in Glasgow. Over the
years, Tina has been involved in the evaluation and implementation of a number of process
improvement activities.

Discussion to pinpoint the groups individual experiences in order to pinpoint
the key similarities and differences of inter-company data management. Parallels will be
drawn and areas of potential improvement agreed upon.

methods of data management versus the implementation of new technology
The strategic implications of each technical methods of data management will be
considered, including an exploration of the managerial implications of transferring to a
new system. The participants may form break-off groups to discuss their ideas in greater
detail

team leaders will report back to the group, followed by general discussion on
the participants individual experience of the solutions on offer
